What is it about creamy ranch dressing that just works? Works for salads, dipping veggies, dipping crackers, dipping pizza, dipping fingers…
The problem is, store-bought ranch is often filled with those nasty preservatives we like to avoid. While this recipe isn’t necessarily healthy, (2 cups of mayo…are you with me?) it’s definitely a healthier version of this delicious dreaminess called ranch dressing.
And if you need more convincing of why you should make a gallon of this stuff to keep in your fridge always, just think about what it’s encouraging. It’s encouraging you and your family to eat raw, fresh, healthy veggies (dipped in ranch of course). That my friends, is success.
If you have littles in your home, know that this ranch dressing is definitely 3-year-old approved. I recently spent some time in California, nannying (the cutest) 3-year-old. She begged me to let her drink this ranch as a snack. When I told her that drinking ranch was most definitely unacceptable (like, I’ve never done that. Um, ok maybe once…) she agreed to crunch on a carrot dipped in it. And let me tell you people, she started begging me for carrots dipped in ranch on a daily basis. Hooray for 3-year-olds eating carrots as a snack!
