Blueberry Chocolate Protein Smoothie

Blueberry chocolate protein smooth
So it turns out the blueberry-chocolate combo makes a beautiful duo.

This has been my go-to protein smoothie for the past week. Mainly because it takes .5 seconds to whip together when I’m running out the door, but also because it’s dang delicious! It’s filling, refreshing, and it has just the right amount of fudgey richness that my taste buds start to wonder if it’s OK to eat this sweet treat for breakfast. But, it is in fact 100% totally acceptable to have chocolate for breakfast when the chocolate is in protein powder form.

I use Orgain Organic Plant-Based Protein Powder (phewww that’s a mouthful) in quite a few recipes, like my Chocolate Raspberry Protein Smoothie and my Chocolate Fudge Power Bites. I love this protein powder because it’s made with all natural ingredients. It’s vegan, gluten free, GMO free, lactose free, soy free and completely organic. All you health gurus out there can appreciate that right?

For this smoothie, I used the creamy chocolate fudge flavor, which gives it an extra boost of rich creaminess. Cause really people, breakfast can’t get much better than this…Blueberry chocolate protein smooth
