The Chocolate Chip Cookie. Are there a thousand recipes floating out there for this most traditional, beloved cookie? Maybe two thousand? Everyone has a favorite recipe. And for good reason. There’s truly nothing better than a hot-out-of-the-oven, melty, gooey chocolate chipper. And that DOUGH! For some reason, I get more requests for this recipe than pretty much any other. I’m not sure why, but people go wild for these cookies! It’s a pretty basic recipe, but with the added punch of oats, white chocolate chips and dried cherries. Throw in some nuts and whole-wheat flour, and you’ve got yourself a winner. Think of it…literally five minutes from now, you could be stealing spoonfuls of dough and feeling pretty great about it. I mean, there are eggs, whole wheat and oats in there, right? That’s a balanced meal in a spoonful…or two…or three……..

Yum! I’m not usually a fan of white chocolate, but I bet the smoothness of it balances out well with the tartness of the cherries.
