Homemade Barbecue Sauce
Our latest summer fave…Homemade Barbecue Sauce!

The grill’s out, the family’s over, the weather is perfect and you are in heaven in your own backyard…

Summer nights.

Why do they only last these few short months? All of a sudden it’s time for back-to-school and those perfect summer nights become a dreamy memory of barbecue sauce, lawn croquet and cold lemonade…

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, because summer is far from over, and there’s still plenty of time to grill up some barbecue chicken and fresh veggies from the garden! Homemade Barbecue Sauce
OK, yes I’ll admit it. This barbecue sauce takes quite a few ingredients. But, please don’t be scared away because the finished product is sooo worth the chopping and measuring. I promise. This stuff is much better for you than store-bought because it’s made with REAL ingredients, and it tastes way better too. Not only that, but it makes a quart and a half, so you can store it in the fridge and use it for months! This stuff goes great on everything…chicken, hamburgers, veggies, Vegan Black Bean and Quinoa Burgers, BBQ chicken salads, etc. etc.

Three cheers for barbecue dinners in the backyard! Summer, please stay.
