4 "Mix Up Your Morning" Oatmeal Recipes-don't get stuck in your oatmeal rut! Mix it up with peanut butter, coconut-raspberry, banana bread and carrot cake!
Oatmeal every day. Who’s been there with me? Oats are such a staple in my diet because they’re quick to make in the morning, healthy as can be and they keep me full for hours. But, after two weeks straight of eating the same oatmeal for breakfast, you start to realize you need a mix-up. These 4 “Mix Up Your Morning” Oatmeal Recipes are a good place to start. You can stick with that healthy staple of oats without getting bored!

We’ve put together 4 recipes that we love, but really, the options are endless. What are your favorite oatmeal recipes? We’d love to hear.

I used to be a huge fan of Quaker Oats instant oatmeal. Cinnamon Spice? Peaches and Cream? You know what I’m talkin’ about. But then one day I had the realization that oatmeal isn’t actually healthy if it contains 12 grams of added refined sugar. Hmmm. That’s when I got to thinking, I can make a delicious bowl of oatmeal and add my own natural sweeteners like fresh raspberries or smashed bananas. Of course, it’s always nice to drizzle a little raw honey or pure maple syrup on there too, but moderation is the key 😉

And now…drumroll please… our 4 “Mix Up Your Morning” Oatmeal Recipes:

1.Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal – a peanut-butter lovers dream. Made with PB fit powder and your choice of milk (I like almond!) this is a creamy peanut butter heaven. Top it off with fresh bananas, a drizzle of honey and some natural peanut butter swirls, and your morning just got a whole lot better.

2.Carrot Cake Oatmeal – even though we’re not promising cream cheese frosting with this one (not a bad idea however 😉 ), this carrot cake oatmeal will definitely elevate your typical morning oats. The pumpkin seeds give it the perfect little crunch and a drizzle of pure maple syrup finishes it off with a bang.

Walnut banana bread oatmeal is a great alternative when you’re craving a bit of banana heaven but want to watch the waistline. A pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon, a drizzle of honey and some crushed walnuts and there ya go! A breakfast of champions.
